Watching the parents who are about to leave, Jackal hurriedly steps forward in an attempt to stop them.
Jackal: It is evident that you, as the child's parents, lack any sense of genuine affection for him. How could you leave your child like this without a care on this naked and harsh ground so quickly? Don't get discouraged by the vulture; express your emotions without hesitation for as long as you want. Take all the time you need to mourn and process your emotions fully. Allow yourself to feel everything that comes up and give yourself permission to honor your feelings. Your child has given you the pleasure of his existence for four years. Can you please consider staying with him for some more time as he embarks on his final journey? Keep in mind the countless moments when he brought joy into your life. Recall the sweet and tender words he used to share with you. It's heartbreaking to see how quickly you seemed to distance yourself from him once he was no longer able to bring happiness into your life. Even the most basic of creatures, such as insects and birds, display a deep affection for their offspring. Despite the fact that they receive no tangible rewards for raising their young, they are devoted to nurturing and protecting their young.
Becoming a parent is a blessing and a privilege. The affection parents show towards their offspring is boundless, even though the sacrifices that parents make yield no reward in heaven. Parents do not anticipate receiving any material or financial benefits from their children. The love that parents have for their children is often considered to be one of the purest and most unconditional forms of love. It is a deep and selfless affection that is characterized by nurturing, protection, and guidance. This love is unwavering and transcends all boundaries and challenges. It encompasses a range of emotions, actions, and commitments. It is not dependent on the child's actions, behavior, or accomplishments. Parents love their children simply for who they are, and this love persists regardless of circumstances. This unconditional nature provides a sense of security and acceptance for the child.
Parents possess a natural instinct to shield their children from various forms of harm, including physical, emotional, and psychological threats. Parents often prioritize their child's well-being and happiness above their own desires, willingly sacrificing their time and resources to ensure their child has the best possible opportunities and experiences. Parents are the child's first teachers. They instill values, morals, and life skills that will help the child navigate the world. Parental love motivates parents to correct their children when they go astray, not out of harshness but out of a desire for their growth and well-being. Parents frequently experience a profound sense of empathy towards their children, connecting with them deeply during moments of both joy and hardship. They wholeheartedly celebrate their children's successes and offer unwavering comfort and solace during their times of distress.
Children are inherently prone to making mistakes as they navigate the complexities of growing up and learning about the world around them. It is during these moments that parental love truly shines, embodying qualities such as forgiveness, understanding, and unwavering patience. Through their support and guidance, parents can help their children learn from their missteps and grow into compassionate, responsible individuals. Parental love is a truly remarkable and enduring force that often lasts a lifetime. The unbreakable bond between a parent and child continuously evolves and deepens over time, yet the foundational love at its core remains unwaveringly strong. As children grow into adults and embark on their own life journeys, parents continue to selflessly prioritize and cherish their well-being and happiness, always offering unwavering support and care. Every living being in this world is acutely aware of the reality that their own offspring may not be there to provide care in their old age. Despite this awareness, they experience deep emotional distress when they are unable to see their young ones. Such is the love of parents.
Obtaining such a position as a parent, spreading a few blades of grass on the ground, why would you leave his tiny little body? What compels you to depart with such apparent indifference, forsaking all love and attachment for this little one? Where could you possibly find yourself venturing off to, with the thought of parting from this child who brought immeasurable happiness to you? How could you shed some tears for a little while and look at him a little longer with affection and just leave? Letting go of possessions that hold sentimental value can be a difficult task. Sometimes it requires us to part with inanimate objects that have meaning and significance in our lives. If this is the case, how then can one be expected to easily release the emotional bond with their own beloved child? Life holds great value for all living beings, and the powerful force of love is universally felt. This is evident in the affection displayed by animals and birds towards one another.
Look at him for the last time. Look at his adorable, chubby cheeks, inviting affectionate kisses. Look at his eyes, large as the lotus petals, once sparkled with excitement and mischief. His soft button-like nose and plump lips once expressed an exuberant smile. Take a good look at him for the last time: his fine and soft hair, expressive forehead, delicate ears, and smooth complexion. It is friends and not others who stand by the side of those who are vulnerable, those who are unjustly accused in a court of law, and those who are being taken to the graveyard. Stay by his side for a while and remember the moments when he was once full of life and curiosity, radiating sweetness that brought joy to everyone around him. If you stay a little longer, maybe he could come back to life. Throughout history, there have been numerous times an individual returned to life after being presumed dead.
Upon hearing Jackal's sorrowful words, the parents felt a surge of hope and empathy and turned back to the child, eager to stay beside his tiny body.
Vulture: Alas, you creatures are indeed deprived of the strength of mind; why do you turn back at the call of a cruel, mean, and little-witted jackal?
In the garden of life, where blessings bloom,
Becoming a parent dispels all gloom.
With boundless affection, they nurture and care,
Sacrifices made, yet treasures they share.
No ledger of gain for the love that they give,
In their children's laughter, their spirits will live.
Pure and unconditional, their hearts open wide,
In nurturing warmth, their true selves abide.
Sheltering souls from harm’s cruel embrace,
They guard with a love that time can't erase.
With each whispered lesson, values instilled,
In the tapestry of life, a strong bond is built.
Through joy and through sorrow, a profound empathy,
They celebrate triumphs and share in the plea.
With understanding and patience, they softly correct,
Guiding their children to earn their respect.
Mistakes may be made in the journey we take,
Yet love shines the brightest when hearts start to break.
Forgiveness and kindness become a sweet song,
Teaching compassion where all souls belong.
The bond ever deepens, an unbreakable thread,
Bearing the weight of each word left unsaid.
As children grow up and spread wings to soar,
Parents stand ready to love them even more.
Though shadows may linger, in old age they’re wise,
Knowing their young ones may not be by their sides.
Yet through every distance, love conquers all fear,
Such is the essence of a parent held dear.
