Jackal: The world of mortals is a place of great sorrow and inevitability. Here, no creature can elude the grasp of mortality. Every being's life is fleeting, and the departure of beloved friends is a constant and painful reality. The world is filled with shallow pursuits, deceit, unfounded allegations, and malicious rumors. It's disheartening to witness yet another incident that only adds to the existing pain and sorrow.
You men are too weak to endure the discomfort and pain. As soon as the situation is increasingly becoming inconvenient, you are getting ready to flee from here, leaving your child's body for your own comfort. How sad, indeed!! How can you feel happiness without enduring pain? The ebb and flow of life often see happiness giving way to periods of misery, only for misery to eventually be replaced by happiness once again.
Life is filled with both joyful and challenging moments, and these emotions can sometimes even occur simultaneously or overlap in complex ways. This duality reflects the nature of life, where contrasting feelings can deepen our understanding of ourselves and the world around us. The presence of hardship can make moments of happiness more meaningful, while happiness can give us the strength to endure difficult times. This coexistence is a reminder of the balance in life, where one emotion can shape and give depth to the other. After enduring misery, one often experiences a heightened sense of happiness once one emerges from that dark period. Overcoming struggles makes moments of peace or joy feel more profound and appreciated. Conversely, after a period of happiness or success, life’s inevitable challenges can feel more pronounced when they arise. People may face disappointment, setbacks, or loss that follows moments of bliss, creating a contrast that amplifies the feeling of misery.
When life is going well, there is sometimes an underlying fear or expectation that "something bad" will happen, leading to a fall from happiness. One may experience anxiety during happy times, worried that their joy is temporary and that misery is lurking around the corner. Similarly, after a low point, many hope that happiness will return, often motivating them to persevere through tough times. Misery can guide one toward growth, self-reflection, and change. After periods of misery, individuals often find new insights or strength, leading to personal transformation. This, in turn, opens doors to happiness as they embrace new perspectives or make positive changes in their lives. Similarly, moments of joy can inspire greater ambition or a deeper connection with life’s meaning, which might later be tested by challenges that introduce misery, pushing the individual toward further growth. Life itself is a balance of opposites: light and dark, pleasure and pain. Life inherently contains suffering, and happiness is found in accepting the transient nature of both joy and pain. Both emotions are necessary to fully experience life, and one cannot exist without the other.
It seems that you are eager to gain happiness without processing your sorrow completely. Only a cowardly person runs away from misery without facing it with bravery. Such an individual neither understands nor experiences happiness to its fullest extent nor can come out of misery completely. Looking at the difficulties and discomfort and prioritizing personal pleasure and convenience, where will you, like people of ignorance, go?
In the garden where shadows play,
Happiness blooms, bright as the day.
With laughter's song and sunlight's cheer,
Joy dances close, whispering near.
Yet time flows gently, like a river wide,
where smiles may fade, and sorrows bide.
For in every bright, glorious hour,
A cloud may gather, darkening flower.
The heart, a pendulum, swings back and forth,
In each drop of rain, a hint of rebirth.
For misery's grip, though cold and tight,
It is countered by joy, a flickering light.
Let us embrace both joy and pain,
for after the storm, the sun breaks free again.
In laughter's shadow, we learn to face,
The bittersweet beauty of life's embrace.
For every crest that lifts us high,
There lies a thought where emotions sigh.
Yet through it all, we grow and change,
In the dance of heart, so wild and strange.
Let us cherish the moments, both light and dark,
For happiness and misery leave their mark.
Together, they weave the fabric of time,
In the symphony of life, a perfect rhyme.
Hearing Jackal's words, filled with guilt, the parents of the child turn towards the cold body of their beloved offspring once again.
